Farewell!!! ( untill the 7th)

Well I'm just posting a super quick post to say FAREWELL!! I will be back a week from today. But I'm leaving tommorow morning at about 330... Ugghhh... 330... am... such a horrible time to wake up... Lol OHH WELL!! I'll miss you guys!! And I hope to see you again soon!!!

Choir Concert

Wow I had the funnest time at my choir concert!!

Thank you everyone who came to see me... I can't even begin to tell you how loved I feel because all of you were there!! THANK YOU!!! As for those of you who didn't go, don't worry about it!! (In my oppinion you didn't miss out on much.) I had a blast though lol!! So God really helped me through Tuesday night. For once I got really nervous... I don't ever get nervous like that.. Amy came up though and saw that I was nervous, she pulled me aside and prayed for me... AMY I LOVE YOU!! Even though you'll probably never read this... But as soon as I got out there my whole perspective changed to what it should've been in the first place. This is all for God. I finally just completely stopped worrying and worshiped God with my singing.. It was soo awesome!! I almost completely forgot about people being there!! So yeah.. I get excited when God is this evident... It was like he was right with me all night.. I had no reason to worry about how I sounded or anything like that...

And one other thing. Bri and I had sang our duet a total of 5 times... We never did the whole thing through.. and we always made a tremendous amount of mistakes!! But tuesday night, the first time we did it all the way through.. we did it perfectly!! It was sooo awesome!! leyisel's grandparents were there.. so we dedicated the whole concert to her. THat was really cool... but it was also really tough... Especially on Leyisel's two best friends... They had to pull themselves together during the intermission... it was tough... But we finally all decided that Leyisel wouldn't want us to be sad so we all just tried our best. Well I think I'm going to go.. I'll tell ya'll more later!!!

Whew!! Crazy weeks are ALMOST over!!!

Hey everyone!! Sorry I havn't been writing much... My life has been REALLY crazy.. Today is the first day I've actually had time to sit and take a break. And NOT EVEN AT MY OWN HOUSE!! I'm at gma's house. But I am greatful... VERY greatful for a break. Well, these next two weeks are going to be crazy, but I know that means the end of school!! So I'm very excited. But wow I've had a great weekend. Yesterday, I went to chemistry and choir, both were fun as usual. Friday night was probably the highlight of my weekend. I went to the one way cafe. Caleb thank you SOO much for getting Lora and I in, we had a blast!! Well anyway, about the concert. There was a band playing called... melting pot... or boiling pot... UAHFGGHH I can't remember... But they were pretty cool. You see, I always have wanted to sing in a band. But I didn't really want to be in a rock band. More of a band that just played worship music. Boiling pot was exactly that w00t!! They were pretty good. But anyway, the best part I think was meeting the pastors son. Caleb, Josh, Lora and I were sitting outside the concert room playing cards when he came up. He's around 7 I think... Well anyway, he comes up and said the CUTEST things!! He made me laugh SOOO hard. After I started laughing he said "why are you crying?" Lora turned to him and said, "Ohh.. she just does that" And of course I started laughing harder. So he looks at me again with an innocent look on his face and says "WOW SHE'S BAWLING!!!" It was SOOOO cute!!! Yeah if you guys don't already know.. I love kids haha!!! Ok well that's all I have for today!! Hopefully I'll have time in this really busy week to write again....

Caleb told me to write about this!! DON'T ASK ME WHY!!!!!!

Weird.. So I am talking to Caleb right now.. and he just told me to write about this. Neither of us can think of what to write about. So he told me to write about "I don't know" I don't know... such a good crutch of a phrase isn't it?? I mean... how many times a day do we use that phrase?? And how often do we use it to get out of things?? WHO MADE THIS MESS??? I don't know *cough cough* And the whole shabang.. So yeah... that's about it!! No se Is the spanish word for I don't know... It's the one thing I use... (I NEVER REMEMBER THINGS!!) So I just try and sound intellegent by saying I don't know in spanish! Heh.... Ok well now that's really all.... I'll post for real later... GOODNIGHT ALL!!!

Choir Concert

Ok so I think that everyone I've talked to about my concert wanted me to remind them when and where, so I'm putting it on my blog so you can come to it whenever. Ok my choir concert is going to be on the 26th of April, we always have our concerts at 7 pm. It is going to be at the First Church of the Nazerine as usual. My mom has offered to drive as many people as she can fit in my van. (If someone else would be willing to follow her with another car she'd appreciate that too, there will be alot of people in the van already.) I'm going to be up in the city all day so I won't be riding with you guys. So in other words tell me if you want to ride with my mom. I know that we do have four seats. Tell me ASAP! So I can tell my mom. I'll tell ya'll more about this later. I've gotta go back to COACH.

Super quick post!!

So this is my super quick post, I'm about to go try out for solo's... in an hour or so.. I really don't mind too much if I don't make it!! But I just need pray because I'm nervous.. already... And if I'm nervous while I sing.. I hold back... when I hold back.. I just don't sound good. (I personally don't think I sound great anyway!! BUT OHH WELL!!! We'll just see what happens!! Lol)

Taco stand

Whoo hoo!! I just finished frying taco's all day... my first day in quite awhile. It was actually alot of fun. Not only did I see like have of my friends at the fair, but I also had this awesome hat haha. It was like a jesture hat.. all brightly colored.. and all that fun stuff.. Everyone who knew me just laughed when they saw the hat (Or tried to take it from me... Phillip COUGH COUGH!) Anyway.. afterwards was pretty awesome.. I seriously didn't think I was going to make it.. my feet, for some reason.. were really swollen and I was in alot of pain.. But odly enough I got this burst of energy at the end. Everyone else was tired though.. But I think it helped that I was happy and energized.. because rather than being angry at each other for all the messes we made.. we all played "Skate mopping" I was doing some sort of a weird... mop.. dancing really... (If you could even call it something that cool haha) One of the stupid things I do when I'm hyper.. haha. But thanks to all my friends who came and said hi to me today!! That made my day!!

WHOO HOO!! As of today, I've been posting on my blog for three months!! Yeah guys.. do me a favor and.. Don't ever call me Laura.. PLEASE!! Yeah.. Kurt has been calling me Laura... It's kind of... IRRITATING!!! Ugghhh!!! I really don't have anything serious to talk about today... lol I'm too tired to think!!
